Present in over 110 countries and territories and with over 60,000 members, AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run organisation. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to participate in international internships, experience leadership and participate in a global learning environment.

The local chapter of AIESEC at RMIT University was founded in the 1970s and has since become a well established and committed youth organisation which offers life-changing exchange and leadership experiences to students from all faculties and disciplines of the University. 

AIESEC RMIT is one of the 14 AIESEC committees within AIESEC Australia. Within the Victoria Region, AIESEC RMIT operates alongside AIESEC Monash and AIESEC Melbourne .
